For this 1987 Buick Regal Turbo T the fomulation of oil has changed over the years with a number of chemicals being removed which would normaly have helped save cam shaft to lifter ware on classic cars.

Zdd plus oil additive restores the levels of Zinc and Phosphate which helps coat metal on metal contact and therefore helps increase the life of engines built in 1987 and older. ZddPlus was developed to address the need to meet the specifications of the original oil for which their car engines were designed.
