The Automobile Journalists Association of Canada announced their picks for the 2014 AJAC Canadian Car of the Year Awards.

This is the second time that Mazda Canada has earned the overall Canadian Car of the Year Tittle.

The awards are given based on the combination of objective data and evaluation by 80 journalists of 174 vehicles.

Rob Dyrdek and the Chevrolet Sonic have launched themselves into GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS® glory together- backwards!
In a gravity defying automotive stunt, television star and former professional skateboarder Rob Dyrdek commandeered a Chevrolet Sonic in the Farthest Reverse Ramp Jump by a Car.
The spectacular stunt, which took place before ecstatic spectators at Six Flags Magic Mountain, totaled 89 feet 3¼ inches. Dyrdek successfully landed the Sonic on the catch ramp and was able to drive away from the stunt to meet the Guinness requirements - thereby qualifying both the car and the driver as GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS record holders.
